The Luna Collection’ is based around animals associated with the moon, in 12 of the full moons that happen through the year.
Native American tribes named the Full Moon in June the Strawberry Moon. This is because they would harvest strawberries at this time. It's also called the Honey Moon, Rose Moon and Mead Moon. As Blackbirds eat strawberries and are known for being quite nocturnal birds, even being known to sing at night which not many birds do - it felt fitting to have one in the Strawberry Moon. Native American cultures associate blackbirds with positive connotations. They are then considered a sign of spirituality, and those who notice these creatures are often considered to have received a message or divine insight. In other cultures, blackbirds symbolise change; a new phase in life is in the offing.
